Skip to contentThese Terms & Conditions apply to enquiries, quotations, reservations, open-trip bookings, group bookings and private charters arranged directly with Supraba Cruises, operated by PT. Luisa Marine Adventures Indonesia.
A booking becomes binding only after Supraba issues written confirmation and receives the required 30% deposit.
FIT bookings: balance due 91 days before departure. Charter bookings: staged balance due at 181 and 91 days before departure.
Routes, dives and shore activities may change for weather, currents, safety, permits or other operational reasons.
Travel personal accident insurance covering emergency medical evacuation and repatriation is required for every guest before embarkation.
All bookings, payments, amendments, cancellations and guest communications under these terms are handled by Supraba Cruises through PT. Luisa Marine Adventures Indonesia. No unrelated vessel operator, booking brand or website provider is a contracting party under these terms.
Supraba Cruises is operated by PT. Luisa Marine Adventures Indonesia. In these terms, “Supraba”, “Supraba Cruises”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to PT. Luisa Marine Adventures Indonesia. “Guest”, “passenger”, “you” and “your” refer to the person travelling, the lead guest, a group organiser, charterer or agent making a reservation.
These terms form part of the contract between you and Supraba Cruises together with your quotation, invoice, booking confirmation, selected voyage information and any written special conditions accepted by both parties. Where a written quotation or confirmation contains a specific term that differs from this general page, the specifically agreed written term will apply to that booking.
Website availability, cabin-selection tools and enquiry forms are provided to help guests request a voyage. Submitting a request does not by itself guarantee a cabin, departure, charter, price or itinerary.
A reservation is confirmed only when Supraba Cruises:
The lead guest or organiser must provide accurate names, contact information, passenger details and any special requirements requested by Supraba. The person making a group or charter booking confirms that they are authorised to act for the other passengers and will share these terms with them.
Unless the quotation or voyage description states otherwise, a Supraba cruise may include:
Unless specifically included in writing, prices exclude:
Park fees and fuel surcharge are mandatory and payable per person in addition to the cruise Rate. See Mandatory Onboard Fees in the FAQ for current amounts by destination.
Park, port, permit and government charges may be revised by authorities. The amount applicable to your voyage will be shown or reconfirmed before departure where reasonably possible.
A deposit of 30% of the full Rate is required to confirm any booking — individual (FIT), group or full-charter. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable and must be received no later than 10 days after the date the reservation is made. If the deposit is not received within this period, Supraba reserves the right to automatically cancel the reservation.
A Charter Trip is a voyage where the Customer books the entire vessel for exclusive use by their group. A FIT Trip (Fully Independent Traveller) is an individual booking on an open-trip departure shared with other guests.
| Booking type | Balance schedule |
|---|---|
| Charter Trip | 30% of the total Rate due no later than 181 days before departure; a further 40% due no later than 91 days before departure |
| FIT Trip | Remaining balance due no later than 91 days before departure |
If the full balance is not received by these dates, Supraba reserves the right to cancel the booking and apply the cancellation charges below.
| Booking type | If booked less than 181 days before departure | If booked less than 91 days before departure |
|---|---|---|
| Charter Trip | 60% deposit required at time of booking | Full payment required at time of booking |
| FIT Trip | — | Full payment required at time of booking |
All amendment requests must be sent in writing to Supraba Cruises. Changes are subject to availability and operational approval.
If a Guest cannot join a trip already booked, the reservation may be transferred to another person. Substitution is allowed but not later than 3 days before the day of departure. Supraba takes no responsibility for changes to any arrangements not made by Supraba on the Guest's behalf, such as flights or hotel reservations.
The identity of Guests must not differ from what has been communicated to Supraba and recorded on the Port Clearance Certificate issued by the Port Authority. Passengers whose identity is not recorded on the Port Clearance Certificate are not permitted to embark at any time.
A cancellation is effective when received by Supraba Cruises in writing. This schedule applies to Charter Trip and FIT bookings alike:
| Written cancellation received | Cancellation charge |
|---|---|
| 181 days or more before departure | 30% of the full Rate |
| 180 to 91 days before departure | 60% of the full Rate |
| 90 days or fewer before departure | 100% of the full Rate |
If a Guest does not show up at the stated meeting place (airport, harbour, boat, hotel, etc.) at the stated time, Supraba's personnel will wait up to 2 hours before proceeding with embarkation and sailing. A no-show is treated as a last-minute cancellation and no refund will be provided.
Every guest is strongly encouraged to obtain comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking, including cancellation, interruption, delay, missed departure, baggage, medical treatment and repatriation.
The Rate applies according to the date of issue and may be subject to change at any time without prior notice, as a consequence of variations in fuel costs, exchange rates, taxes, government regulations or similar factors. Supraba reserves the right to change brochure information, service descriptions and pricelists at any time before a booking is confirmed. The date a contract is entered into is the date the deposit is received by Supraba.
Supraba will not vary the Rate after a contract has been entered into, except in the case of Force Majeure. Should Force Majeure occur, Supraba reserves the right to change the agreed price up to 21 days before departure.
Supraba reserves the right to cancel a trip for unavoidable reasons and will inform the Customer at the earliest possible date. Supraba will propose a replacement vessel or resort as an alternative on the basis of the price paid. If no alternative can be provided, or the proposed alternative is not accepted by the Customer, Supraba will provide a full refund of the payment received.
Supraba reserves the right to change the itinerary and/or particular services, before or after departure, if required due to unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances such as weather conditions. Supraba will make every effort to offer equivalent alternatives of a comparable standard and will inform guests of such changes and any effect on price at the earliest possible date. There will be no refund for unused services where, by any condition beyond Supraba's control, a programme or service during the trip is changed or cancelled.
Supraba reserves the right to cancel or delay a trip at any time for reasons of force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, weather conditions, prohibition to sail by the port authority, epidemics, war, riots, strikes and piracy. Supraba will notify the Customer at the earliest possible date.
Supraba does not guarantee encounters with particular wildlife or access to every named site. Any published itinerary is an example of the intended voyage rather than an absolute promise.
Guests are responsible for valid passports, visas, entry requirements, vaccinations, permits, domestic flights and timely arrival at the designated gateway. Supraba recommends arriving at the embarkation destination at least one day before the voyage where flight schedules or connections create a material risk of delay.
Included transfers apply only within the area, date, time window and collection points confirmed by Supraba. Guests must provide accurate arrival and departure details by the requested deadline. See Section 7.1 for what happens if a guest does not arrive at the agreed meeting point.
Diving is inherently risky. Divers must provide accurate certification, experience, recent-dive, medical and insurance information and must follow the instructions of Supraba's dive professionals.
Supraba assesses each diver's certification and experience against the demands of the planned sites. A guest whose experience is not yet matched to a site's conditions may require private coaching, a private guide or a modified dive programme at additional cost.
Each diver is responsible for being medically fit to dive. Supraba may require a medical questionnaire, physician clearance, certification card, logbook and proof of diving insurance. A dive professional may restrict or refuse a dive where experience, health, conduct, equipment, conditions or safety create concern. No refund is due for a dive missed or refused for safety reasons.
Up to three guided dives may be planned on a full diving day, but the number and location of dives depend on the itinerary, conditions, guest ability, travel time and safety. Night diving and other specialist dives are not guaranteed.
Guests using personal or rented equipment are responsible for checking suitability and condition. Rental sizes and specialist items are subject to advance reservation and availability. Nitrox is available only to appropriately certified divers and where the voyage setup allows.
Guests must disclose any medical condition, medication, allergy, dietary restriction, pregnancy, mobility limitation or other circumstance that may affect safe participation or require assistance. Supraba will assess reasonable requests but cannot guarantee that every need can be accommodated on a traditional wooden vessel or in remote cruising areas.
The vessel is not designed as a fully accessible environment. Steps, ladders, tenders, uneven surfaces and transfers between boats may be unavoidable. Guests with reduced mobility should obtain written suitability confirmation from Supraba before booking.
Children may be accepted depending on age, voyage type, charter arrangement, sea conditions and parental supervision. The crew does not provide childcare. A parent or appointed adult remains responsible for the child at all times. Diving by minors is subject to certification-agency rules, experience and specific written approval.
Supraba may decline or discontinue a guest’s participation where a health condition, disability, conduct issue or undisclosed circumstance creates a material risk to that guest, another person, the crew or the safe operation of the voyage.
Guests are required to be provided, before embarkation, with suitable travel personal accident insurance covering, among other things: accidental death, permanent disablement, emergency medical evacuation and repatriation, hospitalisation, and medical care for the full duration of the cruise until disembarkation. Guests should bring any medical conditions to the attention of the scuba instructor, trip leader or dive leader upon arrival.
Supraba will be responsible for foreseeable loss or damage that Guests may suffer as a result of wilful negligence or breach of these Terms by Supraba. Supraba will not be responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
Before embarking on any cruise or diving excursion, all Guests must read and acknowledge a Liability Waiver confirming their understanding and acceptance of the inherent risks of maritime activities — including scuba diving, snorkelling, swimming and other water-related activities — and releasing Supraba, its partners, agents and employees from claims arising from those risks, subject to the limits described above. The full waiver text is provided at the time of booking and must be signed before embarkation.
Guests will receive a safety induction from the ship's crew on board and must observe and comply with all conduct and safety regulations. Supraba reserves the right to disembark, without refund, any Guest who acts recklessly and jeopardises their own safety, the safety of other Guests or the safety of the ship. For clarity, forbidden and reckless behaviours include consumption of drugs, abuse of alcohol and smoking indoors. Smoking is strictly prohibited in cabins and all indoor areas of the ship; Guests may smoke outdoors on open decks only.
Guests are required to adhere to the rules and regulations of any national park or protected area visited during the cruise. Littering the sea and land is strictly prohibited. If a Guest violates this prohibition at any time after embarkation, Supraba reserves the right to disembark the Guest immediately without refund.
Supraba will charge Guests or their Agent for any and all damage caused by Guests to Supraba's property during the stay on board. If a Guest causes damage or loss of any kind to the ship, other guests or their property, the Guest or Agent who made the booking is responsible for that damage or loss and will be liable to pay Supraba, on demand, the amount required to make good or remedy it.
Airlines, hotels, insurers, government authorities, national parks, ports, transfer providers and other independent suppliers operate their own services and rules. Supraba is not responsible for an independent supplier's act or omission except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Guests remain responsible for passports, money, jewellery, electronics, cameras, dive equipment and other belongings. Any loss or damage should be reported to the cruise director promptly while aboard.
Shortcomings in service during the cruise should be reported immediately to the ship's Captain so a timely, appropriate solution can be found. Where a complaint cannot be resolved aboard, Supraba should be notified in writing no later than 14 days after disembarkation. Supraba will settle the dispute to the best of its capability within 2 weeks of receiving the complaint.
If any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. A delay in exercising a right does not waive that right.
These terms and the booking contract are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute or claim arising out of these terms will be settled by the courts of the Republic of Indonesia.
Questions about a quotation, invoice, payment deadline, amendment, cancellation or these terms should be directed only to Supraba Cruises.
